Roster Updates for Madden 09????????

Does anyone know if there is a way to update the roster with out starting a Live match????

So yesterday i started a ranked match online and got the Roster Update. However though i keep reading these blogs where people say make sure you save the updated roster. I was never prompted to save my roster and I dont have any files when I go into the Roster Upload screen. But when i play a match offline the roster is updated with out me loading a file or even having a roster file saved? Is this normal or a fluke. Let me know??? So frusturating!!!!

WHEN UR PICKING TEAMS FOR THE MATCH IT WILL DOWNLOAD THE ROSTERS THEN U CAN SAVE IT, ONCE U SAVED IT BACK OUT. NOW ASSUMING U WANT IT FOR REGULAR OFFLINE GAMES JUST GO AND LOAD THE ROSTERS THEN UR GOOD TO GO. HOPE THIS HELPS TTYL
