Scouting Players

So I'm playing FIFA today on manager mode, and send out scouts to scan areas, including the Americas, which probably wasn't the brightest idea. 

But anyways, I was wondering if there really is any point to scouting.  Every player that my scout finds has the potential to be 65-70 overall player, which is definitely below the rest of the Arsenal roster. 

Has anybody here ever found a brilliant prospect, or some future star?  I feel like I'm just wasting my money.

it took me 3 years to finally find someone good but when i did i got myself striker from kenya at 18yrs he was already 85, it takes time but you get a good one eventually

btw my striker after 3 seasons were all over 90 so not bad i also got a 18 year old keeper who was 87 to start and became 98 after 4 seasons

when i was torino after 5 seasons and players retired etc, i scouted africa strikers and euro strikers which gave me a rapid black guy with with unstoppable shot power and two white tall sweedish forwards/wingers whos finishing was unbeatable. also i had scouted an immence entertaining rb from africa who scored 19 goals in half a season because he always went forward like a goalscoring clichy.

I have found some awesome young players through the scouting, I got rid of Silvestre and found a young CB with 82 Overall and he was only 21. Just improve your scout and keep sending them out to look for players and you will find some good ones eventually.

you just gotta be patient... sometimes you can find really good youngsters, or people around 80-ish who you can train up

Yeah, my scouting lvl is at ten, but I still always get players that are in the 60-65 range. Maybe I just have to be patient. Or maybe my scout's a ****** bag.

i once got a brazilian wil an 85 overall winger nice moventment stats and finishing you just have to have your scouts max lv once i am happy with my manager mode team i will post it on here but im playing bep:season. right now me overall is 79 im getting there

i like scoutin especially americas sum of the best players in the world from there..brazil Ronaldinho..kaka argentna tevez.. messi so on...an ya need to upgrade your scout to the highest level..i have players lvl 85 to 77 so its worth it i supose.

i suppose itz gd if ur like in coca cola league 2 or sumfin but ur rite: if ur playin as arsenal then there aint really much point- mite as well just look on the transfer mrket.
