Registration, Persona Management and Logging Into EA SPORTS™ Football World

Want to find out what all the fuss is about? Then register for an EA Account and get involved in the ultimate online footballing community. You can register through your Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system or your PLAYSTATION®3 computer and entertainment system, or on the site itself.

Note: If you already have an EA Account, skip to To log into EA SPORTS™ Football World, below.

To register via your Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system or PLAYSTATION®3 computer and entertainment system:

1. Start your console and log into Xbox LIVE™ or the PLAYSTATION®Network.

2. Start your game and follow the prompts until you reach the Main Menu.

3. Select an online game mode.

4. Accept the terms and conditions and follow the on-screen instructions on the Information Sharing screen before selecting SUBMIT.

5. Add the email address and password that you want to associate with your EA account, select SUBMIT and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration.

· Important: Ensure you make a note of the email address and password you enter as you will need these details in order to log into EA SPORTS™ Football World.

6. Xbox 360™ users can now log into EA SPORTS™ Football World.

Note: PLAYSTATION®3 users will need to wait up to 24 hours before the account is activated for use.

To register via EA SPORTS™ Football World:

1. Click REGISTER in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

2. At the Create A New Account screen, fill in your details and click CONTINUE.

· Important: Ensure you make a note of the email address and password you enter as you will need these details in order to log into EA SPORTS™ Football World.

3. Confirm your new EA Account information (to amend any details, click CHANGE) and click on the tick box to accept the terms and conditions. To confirm and complete your registration, click FINISH.

Persona Management

Your Persona is the name that will represent you on EA SPORTS™ Football World. There are many different types of Personas, including XBOX Gamer Tags, Playstation Usernames and EA-specific Personas that you can use on EA websites including EA SPORTS™ Football World.

To create or link a Persona to your new EA Account:

1. Click on the PERSONAS tab within your EA Account Manager or click the following URL: https://profile.ea.com/login.do?surl=myinfoprofile.do

2. Click on CREATE A PERSONA or LINK AN EXISTING PERSONA.

· To create a new Persona, select EA ID from the Persona Type drop down list, enter a Persona Name (make sure it is at least 8 characters long) and confirm.

· To link an existing Persona, click on the Account Type drop down list, select the type of account you wish to link (e.g. EA Classic Screen Name, XBOX Gamer Tag or Playstation Username), type in the Account Name and confirm.

3. Once you have created or linked a Persona, return and log into EA SPORTS™ Football World using the email address and password you specified earlier.

To log into EA SPORTS™ Football World:

1. Type the email address and password you used to register for your EA account into the boxes in the top left-hand corner of the screen and select LOGIN.

2. Choose your preferred Persona from the drop down list.

Note: If you have adopted more than one Persona, you will still be able to swap between them in the My Info screen.

3. Select your Privacy Level and click SAVE.

· If you choose "Private", only your Friends will be able to see your personal information. If you choose "Public", your details can be accessed by everyone on EA SPORTS™ Football World.

Note: After registration, you will still be able to change your choice via the My Info screen.

4. On the My Info screen you can fill in your personal details, including your favourite clubs and players.

· To select your Favourite Club (as well as Other Supported Clubs and your Favourite Rival Team), use the drop down lists on the left of the screen to select the country and league in which it plays. Then, once you’ve selected your club, click ADD next to the appropriate heading on the right of the screen (e.g. Favourite Club, Other Supported Clubs, Favourite Rival Team).

Note: Filling in your personal details makes it much easier for fellow EA SPORTS™ Football World members to find out about common interests, such as supported clubs and favourite players.

5. To complete your registration, click SAVE CHANGES.
