Join a EA SPORTS™ Football World Group to keep up with your favourite team’s news, fixtures and results, trade terrace banter with like-minded supporters and find the perfect audience for your blogs and videos. You can join as many Groups as you like and become as active as you want within each of them.

Show Your Support

Help to settle the eternal footballing debate: Which is the best-supported team in the world? Over time, EA SPORTS™ Football World Groups will consist of national teams, clubs and competitions so, whether you’re into Lazio, Latvia or La Liga, this is your chance to show your allegiances and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow fans.

Joining a Group

To join a Group on EA SPORTS™ Football World, simply select the GROUPS tab at the top of the screen, sort the selection using the drop-down list and find the Group you want to join. Then, in your chosen Group’s home screen, select JOIN.

· To leave a Group, follow the same process and select the LEAVE button.

Once in your new community, it’s up to you to decide how active you want to be. Thanks to the tribal nature of football support, joining a Group provides you with a ready-made audience, making it easy to publish blogs and videos (see Blogs and Videos) and to let off steam (see Talk About It).

Fixtures and Results

Whether you’ve joined a club, country or competition Group, you can stay completely up-to-date with all the games by checking out the Results and Fixtures widgets.

Publishing to Groups

Both videos and blogs can be published to Groups.

To publish a video, select the clip you wish to post, choose a Group from the drop down list on the right-hand side of the screen and select PUBLISH.

To publish a blog, create one (see Publishing Blogs), choose a Group from the drop down list and select SAVE & PUBLISH at the bottom of the screen.

Talk About It

Whether you’re as poorly as the proverbial parrot or launching into a lunar orbit, Talk About It lets you have your shout with people who are actually interested whether your new central defender has a left foot. Think of it as a football phone-in without the annoying presenter and the tedious bits about other teams.

To have your say, select TALK in the Talk About It widget on your Group’s home screen, write your message into the Talk Now box and select SUBMIT.

Play by the Rules

Remember to keep it clean. We take fair play very seriously at EA SPORTS™ Football World, constantly moderating new content. Anyone abusing the spirit of the site can have their user account suspended.

Interesting to see if England posts wins both upcomming WC qualifiers. Draws, although not the worst result, would be huge setback, especially since being knocked out of Euros by Russia. Also interesting that this is happening as US may be climbing into a sweet spot in CONCACAF. Not as challenging a task as England, but we all know that WC group positioning is often crucial.
