(Some fifa 08 tricks that are in Euro 2008) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lkac_f2W8Hk
The skill moves are performed by holding the LT/L2 and moving the RS(right stick) in various directions. They can be used on their own, or be combined into a string of skills. Learning all the skill moves takes time.Timing is everything when performing skill moves in a game, pick the right skill move for the situation and it could put you through on goal, pick the wrong one and your tackled. Here is a list of all the skill moves and how to do them:
Rainbow - RS move it back, forward then quickly forward
Timing is everything on this one to get that extra flick over your head. If you cant time it, simply go forwards more than twice and take timing out of the equasion.
Rainbow V2 - Same as above except you hold it on the 2rd forward for about 1-2 seconds.
Blanco Bounce - This is the easiest trick in the game, simply click the RS in (R3)
Ronaldo Chop - Back twice on the RS quickly.
Stop And Go - Forwards then back quickly
Drag Back-While stationary and holding L2, hold the RS back to do a drag back.
Roulett - The roulett can be done in 2 different ways, to the left or to the right. To go right pull back on the RS then half circle to the right to forwards. To go left pull back on the RS then half circle left to forwards.
Kick ups- You need to be standing still then tap RB/R1, as long as you tab RB/R1 you will still do it. Whilst doing keepy uppies you can do 2 additional tricks explained below.
Around The World - Whilst doing keepy uppies continue to tap RB/R1 and as the ball is going up about knee height rotate the RS in circles to the left.
Mid Air Elastico - Whilst doing keepy uppies continue to tap RB/R1 and as the ball has reached its highest point rotate RS to the right.
Elastico (Flip Flap) - Do a half circle from right to left or left to right and it will vary with an inside to outside elastico or a outside to inside elastico.
Zico Turn - To do the zico turn you need to be still, then double tap diagonaly back/right or back/left and he will turn in that direction.
Feint - Quater circle from right or left around to forwards.
Lane Change - Double tap the RS left or right depending on which way you want to go.
Flick Over Head - Opposite to rainbow, Forwards, Forwards then hold it back.
Hocus Pocus - This one done on its own is stand still, but it can be done after another skill move whilst in motion.Move the RS backwards, then quater circle to the left, then half circle round to the right in one swift motion.
Stepovers -While holding L2, rotate the RS from the diagonally right-forward position to the diagonally left-forward position, and repeatedly go back and forth.
Reverse Step-Over-While holding L2, rotate the RS from right to forward, or from left to forward, to do a reverse step-over in the given direction.
Fake Shot - DONT NEED LT/L2 PULLED. Power up with B/O then quickly tap A/X, hold a direction on the LS which you want to exit after the move is done.
The Rabona - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=cQTKUiDQeA8. Here is the most difficult trick in the game(and also the easiest once learnt). This one takes some practice but can be done. You need a player who can do it (top rated players) e.g. C.Ronaldo, Quaresma,Joe Cole. First, push the RS in the opposite direction you are running [with out pressing L2]). Then, as you approach the ball, push the left stick at a 90 degree angle (right angle) towards the goal. Then, as you get to the ball, quickly, but lightly, tap cross (square) TWICE! and the magic should happen. Takes alot of practice.
The Rabona Freekick- http://www.eafootballworld.com/en_GB/video/12977 THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE BY C.RONALDO! Go as far left as you can on the with the LS then double tap cross B/(square).

MORE TRICKS TO BE ADDED!
PRODUCER TRICKS DIARY
On top of the base system of fakes and feints, we have developed what we call `exit moves?. If you are on the field and perform a step-over you may fake out the defender, but if you don?t go anywhere you are not going to beat him. Beating players on the field comes from a change of pace. After a step-over, reverse step-over or body feint, if you release the left trigger and move the left stick you will perform an exit move. You?ll explode out of the skill move back into dribbling in an instant ? heading off in the direction of the left stick.
The combination of base moves and advanced moves plus the added depth of exit moves multiplies the number of possible skill moves exponentially.
In addition to simple base moves we have also put in some of the major moves that you see players around the world perform. For example, we have the move that Cristiano Ronaldo performs where he `chops? the ball behind his standing leg while on a full sprint, or the Blanco hop where he picks the ball up with both feet and jumps forward, or Ronaldinho doing his flip flop where he touches the ball to the outside and then the inside with the same foot in an instant. You have controls for all these as well as many more on the right stick. Of course not all the players in the game can do all the moves. The more agile, and the better of a dribbler the player is in the real world, the more moves he will be able to do in our game.
In previous FIFA games the rainbow has traditionally been one of the easier moves to execute. It was, in my opinion, way too easy and therefore way too effective. In real life it is one of the most difficult moves in football to pull off, especially on the run in a match situation. This year we have broken the rainbow down into two building blocks you?ll need to master in order to perform it. If you pull back and forward on the right stick you?ll flick the ball up into the air, but you need to flick the right stick forward again at just the right time in order to heel it successfully over your head. If you flick to early the ball may go behind you and you won?t complete the rainbow, and if you flick too late you may hit it into your back, or not even make contact at all. It?s up to you to get the timing perfect so the ball will sail over your head, and it?s up to you to practice these moves to know the right situation to use them on the field.
Another thing we focused on this year is the gameplay balance. When you create something like skill moves that are designed to break down defenses and create space for yourself, you have to make sure these moves are not too powerful. It wouldn?t be authentic to the game if you can just dribble from one end of the pitch to the other any time you receive the ball with a good player, so we don?t want it to be that easy in our game. These moves are easy to learn but will be difficult to master, just like in real life. To be a very good player, and dribbler, it takes practice to get things right. In our game it?s easy to be able to trigger the skill moves but it is up to you to learn the time and place to use them in order to perfect the art of beating defenders.
We?ve studied the real-world moves to understand the different scenarios when these moves are performed and how they are executed. There is a major timing element to successfully using skill moves. You have to learn which move is right for which situation. If you are going to pull off a move too close to the defender you?ll get tackled. If you perform it too far away you won?t get by him and he?ll continue to mark you the same way. It is up to you to use these moves at the right time to create space for your attack.
I think my favorite part about this feature is the creative element, and the fact that almost any move is possible. Football is a game of expression and creativity, and the thing I?m most excited about is the addition of video upload so that you can capture your moves and show them off to the world. From your instant replay you can hit Y and upload a section of your video straight from the game to our website. I know people are going to pull off some great moves and I can?t wait to see all the crazy videos. For me that?s going to be the most fun.
