Hey it's Mandra24 with a new blog and this time it's about Fantasy Baseketball, I'll be here to rank the best players at each position and some sleepers as well.
Best PG: Chris Paul- He'll most likely lead the leauge in assists and lead all the Point Guards in scoring, So without question he'll be the best Point Guard this season.
Sleeper PG: Jose Calderon- He is a leader on a rising Raptor team and will have a break-out season. He will get lots of assits and score from downtown all season long. Jose will get lots of minutes also because the Raptors don't have much depth at the Point Guard positon.
Best SG: Kobe Bryant- Kobe is still the main offensive weapon on the Lakers and I expect another MVP season out him. Kobe is getting older, However I still think he has a shot at the scoring title this year (and maybe even another ring.)
Sleeper SG: Brandon Roy- He is a major weapon on the offensive side of the floor because he can score and he can dish it for some assits as well. Brandon will be able to find Greg Oden (If he can stay healthy) in the paint all season so he can rack up the assits. Brandon can score too, He has a very clutch shot and he is consistent as well.
Best SF: LeBron James- Do I even need to explain this one? King James is pretty much the Cavs entire offense so you know he'll be a points leader at the end of the year. He can rack up points, assits, rebounds and blocked shots. LeBron will be a first pick in most drafts this year also.
Sleeper SF: Ron Artest- Sure he's not your typical "Sleeper" or "Darkhorse" but people are doubting his fantasy value this year because he has to share his points with Yao and McGrady. Artest will have a break-out year in my opion and I think he's going to be more valuable than people think.
Best PF: Kevin Garnett- It will be between him and Dwight Howard this year for the rebounding title so he's going to get lots of points in the rebounding category. He has been working on his jump shot in the off-season so he doesn't have to be in the paint to get all of his points. Also he will have good numbers in the shot blocking column as well.
Sleeper PF: Al Horford- He will have a big year this season for the Hawks. Horford has matured as a player and will have great rebounding and shot blocking numbers this season. Al will also generate points for the Hawks in the paint.
Best C: Dwight Howard- This one was a no brainer, Howard is a great shot blocker, rebounder and scorer. Sure he does't pass often and he's terrible at the line, He'll make up for those points with big nights on the glass and Double-Doubles.
Sleeper C: Zyrdrunas Ilgauskas- LeBron can't be the man every night, So Ilgauskas will lead this team in rebounds and have some big nights when LeBron is out of the lineup or is just having a bad night. The Cavs offense is LeBron James and a little bit of Ilgauskas so he should be a good sleeper pick this season.
Feel free to comment on some of your sleepers and best position players!:D
Good read. Agree with your sleeper pick in Al Horford. Had a chance to meet him in Rookie Camp last year and he's a great guy with lots of talent. No Ben Carter? Dude had 35 last night? Also think OJ Mayo is looking pretty good this early: http://www.nba.com/rookies/rankings_081112.html
